Created in 1993 through a bequest, the United Way Endowment is set to grow and increase the long term stability for providing funding to the programs and services of our community partners in Alamance County.  Gifts left to United Way through estate plans and wills go into the Endowment Fund as well as all major gifts of $25,000 or more.

In March of 2011, United Way received an Endowment Gift from Glen Raven, Inc.

"Glen Raven is proud to support United Way of Alamance County.  By matching our company's 2010 workplace campaign total with a gift to the Endowment, Glen Raven can help United Way continue its strategic funding to local agencies whose programs work on solutions for individuals and families well into the future.  The endowment gift will also support United Way's effort to address our community's most pressing needs as they change in the years to come." - Allen Gant, CEO Glen Raven, Inc.
