Please consider joining our Legacy Circle by including the United Way in your estate planning.  It’s Easy!

You can do so through:

Memorials, 401(K) Plans,

Designations of Insurance Policy Benefits,

 Stock & Property Ownership

Your generous gift will help United Way address the health and human service needs of Alamance County for many years to come. Plus your kindness will enable us to address today’s needs and meet tomorrow challenges.

Endowment Development

Funding for Needed Services

Created in 1993, the United Way Endowment increases the long term stability for the many

services provided by our community partners.  Every dollar given goes to benefit people in need.  The leadership of the United Way seeks to increase our endowment through the Legacy Circle, our planned giving program.  The program offers donors giving options to incorporate the United Way into their legacy planning.  Through the Legacy Circle you may continue your charitable giving without jeopardizing your current needs and obligations!

What members are saying at the Legacy Circle?
"My wife and I know that our adult children are doing well.  This gives us the liberty to support United Way’s Legacy Circle with a gift from our estate. We have put United Way in our will.  In this way, our financial resources are being put to a good use and we can help others in Alamance County long into the future.”  Anonymous

"I gave to the annual campaign while I was working. Now that I am retired I realize that I want my gift to continue in perpetuity.  By putting United Way in my will, I can be confident that I will be helping solve our community’s changing needs for many years to come.”  Anonymous
