Position: Director of Resource Development

Major Job Functions:  Energetic, personable individual needed to work hand in hand with the President and lead United Way’s fundraising efforts.  Individual is responsible for implementing a fund development plan that includes major gifts cultivation, planned giving and an annual workplace campaign as well marketing and public relations. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor degree required with Marketing experience and preferably two years work experience with United Way and preferably 4 years experience in a fundraising organization, with event planning, social media and evidence of strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal skills; and working knowledge of financial management and budgeting concepts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Must have exceptional communication (oral and written), analytical, and public speaking skills.  Must be proficient in using MS Office products: Outlook, Publisher, Excel and Word.  Social Media including Facebook and Twitter. Knowledge or experience using Constant Contact, Photoshop, InDesign and Website management a plus.  Ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.  Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

Salary: Full time position with benefits.  $38,000 to 43,250, salary commensurate with qualifications.
