Alamance County Mobile Free Pharmacy/Over the Counter Medicine Giveaway Event

Vaya Health is pleased to sponsor a MedAssist Over the Counter Medicine Giveaway Event. This will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Lambs Chapel, 3539 Alamance Rd, Burlington, NC 27215, from 9am – 2pm. The OTC Giveaway provides residents in need with free over-the-counter medication including cough and cold medicine, vitamins, allergy medication, first aid supplies, etc. Flyers are attached in English and Spanish, as well as information on shopping lists for homebound individuals, links to volunteer and to pre-order medications online.  Event is open to any individual or family needing OTC medications. Participants must be at least 18 years old to receive medicine. No ID is required. Participants are strongly encouraged to preorder their over-the-counter medicine online at the link below. Online registration closes 5/12/2023 at 1pm.

Homebound:  Aim is to serve as many homebound individuals as possible. Participants can fill out the online preorder form using the listed link above and have a designated person pickup on their behalf, or they can fill out the attached homebound form and scan and upload all forms using the link below. *Children 12 and older can volunteer with parental supervision.  Volunteers are provided with snacks, water, and lunch.
