Better Together - The Importance & Value in Brining Us Together

THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATIVE invites you, your team, and your organization to the next workshop session on:

The Importance & Value in Bringing Us Together

Tuesday, June 29 3:30-5:00

How might we tap into and leverage our values in order to better support our team, organization, and community?

In this Better Together session, participants will explore how they can leverage their values into guiding principles. Values are the nonnegotiable characteristics that best describe who we are and why we exist. Guiding principles are applied values that govern action and define how we show up in our engagement with one another. As the foundational beliefs that anchor families, friends, companies and nonprofit organizations, these concepts are at the heart of The Social Good Report, a recent publication by session presenter Josh Jacobson.

Jacobson is CEO of Next Stage, a social good consulting firm serving the Carolinas. Josh has explored how values and guiding principles have become a big part of how society functions, including how next generation audiences engage in the world. This session will unpack some of his research and engage participants in an exploration of their own value systems to tap in to the commonalities that bind us.
