Join us for our Alamance Nonprofit Lunch & Learn and Board Fair!

Join us on May 10th for a nonprofit board recruitment lunch and learn! Our community's nonprofits provide the foundation for servanthood and helping one another, supporting causes that impact all areas of our cities and towns. Theseboard event organizations are in constant need of volunteer support, but none more important than leadership at the board level.

Have you ever wondered what board members do? Are you qualified to be on a nonprofit board? What other questions should I ask? Join us at Impact Alamance for a networking opportunity to meet with some of our key area nonprofits, learn about those board responsibilities and expectations, and have a lunch on us.

You can join us for the lunch and learn portion from noon-1pm and/or the board fair networking portion from 1-2pm. For full details and to register, click here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/alamance-nonprofit-board-fair-tickets-5919…

This event is being organized by a group of participants in this year's Leadership Alamance class with the Chamber in an effort to educate and engage people who are interested in serving with a nonprofit and learn a little more about what it involves to serve on a board. Our hope is to help connect nonprofits and citizens to create and/or deepen relationships to better accomplish serving our community together.
