Alamance County Public Libraries and the Burlington Writers Club are excited to announce the Alamance County Poetry Stroll 2023! We are soliciting poems to be featured during National Poetry Month, April 2023, in the windows of businesses in downtown Elon, Burlington, Graham and Mebane.
Last year’s Poetry Stroll had more than 55 businesses participate. We would like to have even more participants this year, and we need your help to promote the contest.
Traditional 1st/2nd/3rd prizes will not be awarded to entrants, but there will be Readers Choice Awards, voted on by Poetry Stroll participants.
