Randy Perkins, President and Owner of Prime Personnel Resources, brings more than four decades of leadership, HR expertise, and community service to the organization. A long time business leader and dedicated Rotarian, Randy is known for his integrity, relationship‐centered approach, and commitment to strengthening the workforce and local community. A Guilford County native, Randy earned his B.S. in Biology from UNC Greensboro before beginning his career in education. In 1982, he transitioned into Human Resources Management, working with manufacturing and textile firms across North Carolina and building a strong foundation in talent acquisition, workforce development, and organizational leadership. In 1998, Randy founded Prime Personnel Resources, Inc. in Burlington, NC—a full‐service staffing firm specializing in temp‐to‐hire placements, professional recruiting, and on‐site staffing management. Under his guidance, the firm has grown into a trusted staffing partner with a dedicated team serving businesses throughout the Piedmont region.

His volunteer service includes The United Way of Alamance County (Campaign Chair and Board Chair 2007-2008), the United Way of North Carolina (Personnel & Finance Chair), NC‐211, the Alamance Chamber (Board Chair, 2012), Alamance County Human Resources Association (President, 1998), the Regional Partnership Workforce Development Board, and the Alamance County Arts Council. He currently serves on the YMCA Board.  His leadership and service have earned both him and the company multiple community awards. A passionate Rotarian since 1998, Randy has served as Club President, Area 3 Assistant District Governor, District Finance Committee member, Area 3 Foundation Advocate and District Governor of Rotary District 7690.

He and his wife of 57 years, Reida, participated in a Polio National Immunization Day in India in 2015. Both are Paul Harris Fellows, and Randy is a member of the Paul Harris Society. Randy and Reida live in Burlington and enjoy spending time with their children, Auburn and Reid, their three grandchildren, and their great grandchild, Levi. When he’s not working or volunteering, Randy can often be found woodworking or fishing.
