2026 United Way of Alamance County Community Investment Grant Announcement

United Way of Alamance County is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2026 Community Investment Grants and to share the impact of this year’s funding process.

This year, we received more than $330,000 in funding requests from over 20 community agencies working to address critical needs across Alamance County. With the support of more than 15 dedicated community members who partnered with us throughout the application review and recommendation process, we awarded a total of $120,000 to 16 outstanding organizations.

Funding was allocated across the following focus areas:

  • Adult Education, Job Training, & Career Pathways: $56,000
  • Housing Navigation & Case Management: $11,500
  • Emergency Rental, Mortgage, & Utility Assistance: $15,000
  • Financial Education & Coaching: $17,500
  • Eviction Prevention & Housing Retention: $20,000
