The 2027 United Way of Alamance County's Community Investment Grant process will begin in Summer 2026. The focus areas for the 2027 grant cycle are:
Youth Opportunity: Our Youth Opportunity pillar focuses on empowering young people to succeed through education, skill-building, and leadership development. It aims to create pathways that help youth overcome barriers and achieve their full potential in school, work, and life. By investing in youth, United Way of Alamance County supports stronger local communities and a brighter future for our area’s young people.
Financial Security: The Financial Security pillar focuses on helping individuals and families achieve stability through access to essential resources like budgeting, savings, and credit management. It supports programs that promote economic independence and reduce barriers to financial well-being. By strengthening financial security, United Way of Alamance County helps build a more resilient and thriving community for all residents.
