Six Elementary Schools in ABSS Offer Dual Language Programs
Alamance-Burlington Schools (ABSS) offers a dual language program opportunity that begins in kindergarten for rising kindergarten students at six (6) elementary schools across the district. Dual Language Immersion is a unique opportunity for children to participate in the ABSS academic program while learning a second language. Spanish is more than a subject taught; the language is used during everyday instruction and classroom activities.

Applications are open for any student who will turn 5 years old on or before August 31, 2022 and eligible to enter kindergarten in Alamance County.
The deadline to submit an application is March 25, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.
