Alamance Arts seeks a dynamic, innovative Executive Director to lead the organization into its
next chapter as it celebrates 70 years of enriching the cultural life of Alamance County.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer,
providing strategic vision and operational leadership while overseeing daily operations, staff
management, and comprehensive fundraising efforts.
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The Executive Director will lead bold and
sustainable fundraising initiatives, cultivate meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors,
government partners, and community stakeholders, and serve as the organization’s foremost
ambassador.
Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Board on strategic planning; ensuring
strong financial stewardship; leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing staff, and
strengthening marketing and public relations efforts to expand the visibility and impact of the
arts throughout the county.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of senior nonprofit leadership
experience, with a demonstrated track record in fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, and
community engagement.
