As a trusted source of information for local communities, your organization is in a unique position to share information about the HOPE Program with people who might not hear about it otherwise. You can raise awareness of this critical pandemic recovery resource by making sure local agencies, churches, community organizations and others in your area know about the HOPE Program by sharing the message below and the attached flyer.
APPLY NOW TO HOPE! The N.C. Housing Opportunities and Prevention of Evictions (HOPE) Program is still accepting applications from low-income renters who have suffered financial setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Don’t wait to apply – the nationwide eviction moratorium has ended, and renters will not have protection from eviction for non-payment of rent.
Find information about eligibility, benefits and an online application at www.HOPE.NC.gov. The HOPE Call Center is also available at (888)9ASK-HOPE or (888)927-5467 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Both English- and Spanish-speaking representatives are available to assist callers.
