Meet and Greet with Chief of Police Brian Long

Have you ever wanted to discuss the current safety trends in your community? Or, do you wish to meet the newly appointed leader of the Burlington Police Department? How about getting an opportunity to share your ideas and concerns for public safety in the City of Burlington?

During the week of Nov. 15- 18, 2021, you will have four opportunities to meet Chief of Police Brian Long and others within the agency to discuss these topics and more.

Chief Long and the Burlington Police Department will be hosting meetings on the following dates, times, and locations:

  • Monday, November 15, 2021, 5:30 pm- 7:00 pm, at Ebenezer United Church of Christ 734 Apple St. Burlington, NC 27217
  • Monday, November 15, 2021, 7:15- pm- 8:45 pm, at CityGate Dream Center 1423 N. Church St. Burlington, NC 27217
  • Wednesday, November 17, 2021, 5:30 pm- 7:00 pm, at Kernodle Senior Center 1535 S. Mebane St., Burlington, NC 27215
  • Thursday, November 18, 2021, 5:30 pm- 7:00 pm, at St. Mark's Community Church 1230 St. Marks Church Rd. Burlington, NC 27217

We encourage everyone to attend and look forward to hearing your ideas to help us continue to make Burlington a safe, vibrant, and inclusive community.

Due to current Covid protocols, face coverings will be encouraged for all, and we will follow the host venue's requirements.
