Freedoms Hope Compassionate Ministry Center is seeking a part-time Executive Director that is passionate about creating real, lasting changes in the lives of our neighbors in crisis or facing barriers to progress. Freedom’s Hope is searching for a committed, community-minded leader to serve as our next Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to lead a trusted local organization into its next chapter of impact.
About Freedom’s Hope
We are a faith-based nonprofit rooted in compassion, dignity, and justice. Our Center opens four mornings a week to provide essential services—showers, laundry, meals, clothing, and educational support. In partnership with ConeHealth, we offer on-site nursing care three days a week. Case managers walk alongside participants to help them access housing, employment, and benefits.

As Executive Director, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that Freedom’s Hope continues to be a place of welcome, support, and transformation. You’ll work closely with our Board of Directors and a part-time Operations Manager to lead with vision and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and values-driven leadership
- Oversee daily operations and support staff and volunteers
- Build partnerships with local organizations, service providers, and community leaders
- Represent Freedom’s Hope in the community and advocate for our mission
- Lead fundraising and grant development efforts
- Ensure sound financial and organizational practices
- Collaborate with the Board on planning and governance
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has leadership experience in nonprofits, human services, or community-based work
- Understands the complexities of poverty, homelessness, and trauma
- Communicates with empathy and builds strong relationships
- Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, or grant writing is helpful
- Is committed to equity, inclusion, and community collaboration
- Available for flexible hours to allow for community contact
