Now Hiring: Income Maintenance Caseworker II - Temporary - Part Time

Alamance County Social Services is currently seeking to fill multiple temporary part-time positions due to North Carolina's recent expansion of Medicaid.  Positions have future possibility of full-time status upon funding approval and the successful completion of training.  Employees are responsible for the total process of determining/re-determining applicant eligibility; expected to perform tasks such as interviewing clients to obtain required information, completing initial applications, verifying the information obtained, determining eligibility, or completing scheduled program reviews in multiple software systems. Individuals hired in this position must be able to explain program(s) requirements and advise applicants to other program services as appropriate.  This recruitment may close any time after the first review or when a sufficient number of qualified applications have been received.

Position will be scheduled 30 hours a week with hours expected through December 31st, 2023. Position may have a chance to go full-time post 1/1/2024 based on Medicare expansion legislation and Board of Commissioners approval.
