Alamance County Food Drive

According to Concern Worldwide, the world produces enough food to feed all 8 billion people, yet 733 million (1 in 11) go hungry every day. Closer to home, food insecurity rates in Alamance and Caswell Counties have ranged from 11.4% to 14% over the past four years.

With these alarming statistics in mind, the Food Drive Committee of the Burlington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, invites you to participate in our upcoming Food Drive benefiting Allied Churches of Alamance County and the Southern Alamance Family Empowerment Food Pantry. We are proud to host this event in partnership with the Delta Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, the Pi Kappa Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and Elon University’s Omicron Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
