Power + Place Alamance County Public Screening

The Power + Place Collaborative is excited to announce our “Stories of Alamance County 2025” Public Screening set to take place on Thursday, December 4.

This event will feature a public screening and community dialogue of a dozen new community stories co-created by Elon students and Alamance community members exploring themes of rootedness, migration, and belonging.

This year we have two options to attend:

  • Limited in-person seating at the Elon Community Church (271 N Williamson Ave). A light lunch will feature foods inspired by Alamance County storytellers and Elon Food Pathway's students. If you would like to attend in person, please register here.
  • Virtual attendance from 12:30-2:00 pm EST. Simply register here.

This community event has been co-designed in partnership with:

  • Elon University’s Center for Design Thinking
  • The African American Cultural Arts & History Museum
  • Alamance Dream Center
