Arboretum Day is Saturday, November 8

The City of Burlington and New Leaf Society invite the community to celebrate Burlington’s trees, plants, and natural beauty during Arboretum Day on Saturday, November 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Burlington Arboretum Commons Building, located at 315 West Willowbrook Drive.

Attendees can pick up a free tree (while supplies last) and connect with local organizations that help keep Burlington beautiful, sustainable, and green. Exhibitors include New Leaf Society, Burlington Arboretum, Burlington Tree & Appearance Commission, Duke Energy Vegetation Management, Alamance Master Gardeners, Burlington Bird Club, NC Forest Service, and the Arboretum Phase II Master Plan Committee.

At 12:00 p.m., guests are invited to join Jason Barnhill, Arboretum Manager, for a guided tour offering a behind-the-scenes look at what’s growing and what’s next for this vibrant public space. The event is free, and everyone is welcome.
